Cindy M. Eifert, aged 52, of Maria Stein, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at The James in Columbus. Born on April 22, 1972, in St. Marys, Ohio, she was the beloved daughter of Daniel and Lucille (Geier) Moeller, who survive her in Maria Stein. On July 19, 1997, Cindy married Nicholas Eifert, who remains to cherish her memory in Maria Stein.
Cindy’s family was the center of her world. She is survived by her children: Reece Eifert and his fiancée Taylor Shaw of Tipp City, Isaac Eifert and his fiancée Lauren Cordonnier of Chickasaw, and Lydia Eifert of Maria Stein. She also leaves behind her siblings: Lisa and Kevin Homan, Rick and Sarah Moeller, and Randy and Ithaca Moeller, all residing in Maria Stein. Her in-laws, Dan and Dorothy Eifert of Maria Stein, along with brothers-in-law Tom and Jill Eifert of Indianapolis, and Matt and Kristy Eifert of Maria Stein, also mourn her passing.
Faith played a pivotal role in Cindy’s life. She was an active member of St. John Catholic Church and participated in the Ladies Sodality of the church. Her dedication extended to serving as a Eucharistic Minister at St. John the Baptist Church and being a part of the Welcome Sisters.
Professionally, Cindy was the manager of guest relations at Midmark Corporation, where her warm personality and dedication left a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike. Outside of work, she had a passion for walking, being outdoors, flower gardening, and traveling with family and friends.
Visitation for Cindy will be held at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and on Friday, March 21, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:30 AM on Friday, March 21, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Maria Stein, with burial to follow in St. John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County.
Cindy’s battle with cancer was met with unwavering courage and grace. Her resilience served as an inspiration to all who knew her, reflecting her deep faith and love for her family. Her legacy of kindness, dedication, and strength will continue to influence and inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
